Keep Phone Location Always In Active Mode:-
Make sure that your location is always in active mode especially while you are traveling or out on routine inspections. This way your location can always be detected. Not only this, make sure that you tell about your meeting with a client to someone you know, be it an official peer, your friend or any family member. These small steps can save you from a major mishap.

Know the Exits of the Building and Keep Them Clear:-
While conducting an inspection, make sure that you keep the door unlocked and in fact open. You can use a rubber wedge to ensure that the exit door is always open. Avoid letting people follow you around, instead just stay behind even while taking the necessary tests. Ensure that wherever you are, you know exactly where your exits are.
Also, in the driveways, don’t let other cars block your road or park just behind your car.
-
Prefer Commuting In Your Own Vehicle:-
It is always advised to travel in a public transport or commute in your private vehicle. If nothing is possible to make sure someone you know to drop you and picks you from the location. Always avoid sitting in a stranger’s car. No doubts about the fact that not all clients are safe to travel with, yet there is still a chance that a prospective kidnapper is there making plans to make you sit in the car, maybe drug you and drive you to a far off location.
Everything is just a possibility yet you need to be on the safer side always!
-
Share Your Location with Your Peers of Official Partners:-
Use a location-sharing mobile app or simple an official electronic diary, to ensure that you share all the details in your office. All your appointments, their locations, and everything must be clearly displayed in that diary. Or simply inform someone while leaving for the meeting. Technology has made everything really easy, and at no cost makes you feel that your privacy is infringed upon.
